Impact InstallationsThese works are statements constructed from various elements of Tj's art. They are designed to suit the needs of the site, venue or opportunity. Full size cars, cast forms and figures, and different components are combined to fit the situation. Some are indoor or short term, some are more permanent outdoor pieces designed to take the elements. Tj is constantly combining and recombining elements to make statements on the theme. The figurative elements from this series have become pieces in and of themselves. Many have been cast full size and a group of the maquettes have been created for smaller castings.
One must see these installations in person to experience their power. The three-dimensional design and interaction of forms are very difficult to capture in photographs. |
