New Casting

"Portrait of Sarah" in Tj's new stone casting process. 

 

This intricate portrait (see more on portraiture) was in the studio in clay model form for over a decade. Recently  the molds were taken and a casting produced in multiple colors of beige and bone white PM Cements. The details are very sharp and the color is dramatic.  All colors here are cast in and no staining was required. A great example of the colaboration  between Tj and the Hard Topix precast Concrete group in Jennison MI. Tom and Dave Poel cast this one in 08.
