These pieces have been molded from the study maquettes used for large Sculptures. They have tremendous detail and represent the monumental pieces perfectly. The metal master copies have been hand tooled for the pewter casting process by the artist. All components are hand cast in American Fine Pewter (.999). Each piece is chased and then individually welded into the complete sculpture assembly, polished and finished with a sculptor's wax. It is then installed on the hand-carved granite base which has 2 chiseled sides and 2 polished surfaces that glisten like a highway in the sun.
